Ms. Ariana Horne, B.S.
Hello! My name is Ariana Horne. I am an educator and entrepreneur. I was born and raised in Springfield Massachusetts where I attended the Springfield Public schools all of K-12. I attended Alice B. Beal Elementary, John F. Kennedy Middle School, and Roger L. Putnam Vocational High school, where I graduated with Honors as Class President.
After high school, I attended Bay State College in Boston, Massachusetts where I studied Fashion Design. I studied design for one semester, then changed my major to Fashion Merchandising due the love of business. After 2 years, I transferred to The University of Bridgeport where I became a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorotity, Incorporated and graduated with a Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. Moving back to Springfield, I became a business owner of my clothing boutique and entered into the school system as Math Tutor. I decided to pursue my career in Teaching so I began and completed my one year practicum with Teach Western Mass.
I began my teaching career at M. Marcus Kiley Middle School for two years. I am now starting my first year Chestnut TAG and I could not be more excited.
